"International"?
[edit]How can it be an International Airport when it only flies to Johannesburg? Bezuidenhout (talk) 14:22, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- It is an international airport because it has customs and immigration service. Don't look only at scheduled airline services. At smaller airports such as this unscheduled charter operators, private and corporate aviation plays a much bigger role than at airports such as ORT which only serves sheduled airlines. Polokwane not Pietersburg
[edit]Polokwane International Airport FAPP is not the same as Pietersburg Civil Aerodrome FAPI. The first has coordinates 23°50′43″S 29°27′31″E / 23.84528°S 29.45861°E. The second has coordinates 23°55′33″S 29°29′03″E / 23.92583°S 29.48417°E. You can see the different airports on satellite imagery. cagliost (talk) 06:43, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
I have removed the unsourced claim "formerly known as Pietersburg International Airport or Gateway International Airport".

FAPB
[edit]There are mentions of ICAO code FAPB on the internet. This is no longer an official ICAO code, however it was used for this location (FAPP) in the past, see [1]. cagliost (talk) 09:54, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
