Original Polly Dolls
[edit]I think this article should have a photo of an early Polly Pocket doll and her compact home. I still have one from childhood and when I compared it to the photo in the article, I noticed how tiny she is, and how she has changed dramatically. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.42.85.76 (talk) 15:56, 9 January 2007 (UTC).
Perhaps you could provide this photo? The current photo is of Fashion Polly. I'd like to put a photo of the modern re-launch up. ChickpeaTic (talk) 04:39, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
movie
[edit]If the movie hasn't been mentioned in the article, it should be. My little sister really likes it.72.230.111.150 13:46, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
rubberized clothing
[edit]What is that "rubberized clothing" made from? It is just phthalate city? --69.232.210.146 (talk) 06:04, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
What is the generic name for "Polly Pocket" style dollhouses? (the old style)
[edit]Everyone I know just calls them "Polly Pockets" but there have been versions released with Disney characters, Wizard of Oz, various "knockoff" brands, versions with animals instead of people, versions for boys, etc. It's a really unique style of dollhouse so I was wondering if it had a specific name. --173.180.109.245 (talk) 05:51, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
possibility of extended name for character
[edit]- Polly is a nickname, often for either Mary or Dorothy, derived from their respective nicknames Molly and Dolly.
Does anyone know if any aspect of the franchise has ever referred to a long name for Polly Pocket? Perhaps a middle name or something like Polidora? ScratchMarshall (talk) 14:36, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Polly Pocket is older than the 1980's - originated in the 1950's.
[edit]I have a black and white 1957 photo of a family with one daughter wearing a Polly Pocket shirt, same font. There seem to be some vintage doll sets on Etsy. Its hard to find information on the older doll collection. Anyone have any information?
I have an old Polly Pocket Bracelet with the Polly Pocket Doll inside a plastic locket. I received it around 1963-1964 when I was a little girl. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:A000:1619:C0C0:1C37:2C5E:9AE8:C635 (talk) 20:00, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
