Please either edit, remove, or cite the last sentence of the History section, i.e. "but at that time the pollution was comparatively small and could be handled by nature." The language appears to be casual and simply an author's opinion. Microscone (talk) 18:30, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. However, you do bring up a valid point, so I have added a {{fact}} tag to the end of that statement. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:25, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

I suggest we add the following info about pollution either in the introduction, or in 7.1

Pollution is the largest cause of of death in developing countries. [1]Exposures to polluted soil, water and air (both indoor and outdoor) killed 9 million people in 2012. 8.4 million of them in low- and middle-income countries. Worldwide, pollution kills one in seven people. [2]

Not done:This is a massive claim, and I would like to see some consensus and input from other editor. first. Please re-open after consensus is reached. --allthefoxes (Talk) 06:36, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
