SUP!

The sentence Moderate America has attempted to define moderate political ideology in the United States of America.[1] seems both out of place and needing clarification. Moderate America appears to be a blog and might not be a reliable source (for anything but its own statements), and the opinions might be WP:UNDUE. I don't know enough about the details of American politics to decide if the text needs to be changed or to make the changes myself.Sjö (talk) 04:51, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

"Aristotle favoured conciliatory politics dominated by the centre rather than the extremes of great wealth and poverty or the special interests of oligarchs and tyrants.[3]"

What is this supposed to be the history of? And surely presenting one person's preference for moderation is POV. And "extremes of great wealth and poverty" aren't political extremes. Really, this section is Original Research. -- 72.194.4.183 (talk) 00:06, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It would be advantageous to see examples within US politics of a moderate elite as well as moderate voting outcomes or arguments to better contextualize moderates in US politics. It would also be advantageous to see the other side of the argument on why political moderates may not exist in the United States. Additionally, more sources that may consider the minority perspective on moderate politics in the United States would be interesting and helpful. Overall, the expansion of sources and of broad statements in the article would be helpful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IFlyYouLand (talkcontribs) 19:19, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
