This page needs a thorough edit. I only made a dent. --Kslain 21:56, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cheap plastic

[edit]

I think Poland Spring uses cheap plastic for its bottles; I think there should be a section on that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.160.82 (talk) 13:28, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, no sections on what you, or I think, unless you have published those thoughts in a reliable source. See the policy Wikipedia:No original research. Now if there was a significant body of such criticism published in reliable sources (not blogs, etc...), we'd need to include it. Is there? GRBerry 14:26, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Environmental record edits

[edit]

TayshaunPrince24 has been adding text about Poland Spring's environmental record. I've removed this text for three reasons. First, the text is copy/pasted directly from the articles that are referenced, which is unacceptable around here. Second, some of the text comes off as sounding very advert-like. Third, the text added is largely redundant. The Eco-shape stuff is already covered by the end of the Water sales section; the Fryeburg text is covered by the Controversy section. Maybe if the text is rewritten it can be included, but most certainly not in the way it was. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 20:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources of Poland Springs Water

[edit]

It is said that roughly over 100 million gallons of water are purchased from the Fryeburg Water Co., in Fryeburg, Maine. Does anyone know how much water are taken from all of the springs? How many gallons of water is taken total, and most importantly how much as a percentage of the total, from each individual spring? I think this would be important information if it can be sourced.Jcook5 (talk) 17:39, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Restored page

[edit]

It was redirected to Nestle which is obviously inappropriate. Enigmamsg 22:11, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
