Whether Poicephalus fuscicollis is used as the main page for the 'un-capes' or something else, it's very confusing to have so many mentions in the Cape Parrot article describing P. Robustus as a distinct species while not having a separate page for the other species. This isn't an attempt to boost the argument that they should be considered a separate species—even if the consensus reverts to one species with 3 subspecies, there is still room for a separate article about the South African variant given its precarious conservation status, right?

I may have made a mistake in changing the redirects and starting up Poicephalus fuscicollis as its own article, but it's out of being tired of being confused about what the main article is talking about, not out of an attempt to say one side or another is right in the taxonomic debate.

NOTE: Copying the preceding text to Talk:Cape Parrot in case everything is reverted and the only active talk page is that one (so that the discussion will be preserved there for future Cape Parrot etc editors).—140.153.24.155 (talk) 15:30, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
