Drainage plough

[edit]

The machine, usually with tracks, used to install subsurface tile drainage tubing beneath the soil is called a "Drainage Plow" or a "Tile Plow". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.159.209.23 (talk) 22:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See http://www.wolfeequipment.com/drainage.htm for a picture of a trenchless drainage plow.

There are also machines called Cable Plows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.159.209.23 (talk) 22:36, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Tile ploughs" are covered already on this dab page by the entry Plough. They are mentioned on that page: Plough#Mole plough, and also covered further on the more detailed page Subsoiler. You may wish to expand those articles.
By "cable plough" I think you mean the balance plough described here: Plough#Steam ploughing. If so, it is also covered here by the Plough entry. Remember that disambiguation pages are not a list of types of something, but a list of articles with the same title: in this case just "plough". Should "plow" entries be here?

[edit]

The page at Plough has a hatnote for Edward Chester Plow, which seems excessive. But there is no Plow (disambiguation) page. Should those entries be on this page? Walt Yoder (talk) 16:08, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
