[edit]I received a message indicating that the Plekhanov House article was intended for speedy deletion. The claim was made that the article was simply advertising.
On the contrary, the article is about a (public) Library with historical and original sources in its collection. Would an article about the Smithsonian Institution be deleted for the same reason? I am very suspicious of the reasons given for the speedy deletion. Is this simply political bias - Plekhanov was a famous left-wing figure from 19th and early 20th century Russian history - masquerading as something else?
My bias: I am a great fan of Georgi Plekhanov. So much so, that I have chosen his name to identify myself here at Wikipedia. Georgi Plekhanov (talk) 21:09, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
