Not ideal to have two lists for the species. I created the alphabetic list to include all the species I could find. The problem I had with the subgroups provided is that I could not find a way to add many species into a subspecies group. Also, wonder if these groups are even considered valid by the majority of workers in this genus. Skevington in 2018 for example uses a different method of eight groups that may be roughly equivalent, I don't know. If there are any other regional keys or synopsis out there I missed, feel free to add those as well. Ohara 1980 has the best work on the species in Japan, a real treat.
