needs disambig page

[edit]

search for "planning commission" dumps one to this article on India's Planning Commission. The search should send one to a generic article (if not one already, there should be) or a disambig page. There are probably articles on other jurisdictions' planning commissions. also, needed is an article on Planning Commission (New York City)--68.173.2.68 (talk) 12:06, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do not merge

[edit]

Oppose - These articles should not be merged as they are two different bodies. The Planning Commission (India) article should stay intact and note that it has ceased to exist. The new NITI Aayog article should also continue to exist. It is not as though the Planning Commission has been renamed. It has been abolished. The new NITI Aayog has a very different mandate and charter. In the United States, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) was replaced by the NASA in 1958. Both articles exist, as they should exist. Do not merge here either. --Hunnjazal (talk) 01:14, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
