Place Flagey is used much more often in English. ([1] vs [2]) More troubling is that Flagey Square seems to me to be an awkward neologism, and even Place Flagey would be easy for English speakers to understand. "Flagey Place" would also be better than the current name. Oreo Priest talk 21:29, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Contra Its quite clear Oreo Priest would like Brussels to be a 100% Francophone city. Do you work for the UF?
That's simply not true. I'm an English speaker that's lived in Brussels, and I just think the titles of the articles should reasonably reflect what anglophones actually call them. Having said that, would you have any problem with Flagey Place? Oreo Priest talk 04:08, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Pro I am admittedly no expert, but I have spent 18 months in Brussels and have never once heard it referred to as "Flagey Square." Anglophones, at least among the expat community universally seem to call it "Place Flagey". Internet usage also seems to support the extensive use of "Place Flagey." This is not political in any way, as we would surely be pushing for "Flageyplein" in that case... Peregrine981 (talk) 22:07, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
