Should lemieux be erased from the page since it was decomissioned and therefore no longer in existance?

NO! Please do not do this. The page should avoid dated information such as claiming anything is "current". Just cite a source and say when someting happened. SOmeone can always follow the link to the actual site to find "current" information. When something gets decommissioned, say when it was, but if it was once notable it still should be.
