Neglect
[edit]Walked past there recently. The path is some way from the house but we could see it is empty and has the windows boarded up. Got talking to some locals nearby who told us the owner has spent 12 years refusing to do any work there while fighting a legal battle to close the ancient rights of way through the park. Seems he has now succeeded in this and people have to scramble up and down an incredibly steep alternative path outside the park. They say the locals are seething with indignation at the injustice of it, saying the legal process has been bought. Apparently they are biding their time while plotting revenge on the bastard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RhymingRambler (talk • contribs) 09:42, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
