Monolinguals
[edit]I see that Ethnologue claims that only about 20% of Pitjantjatjara speakers know English, the rest being monolingual. I'm afraid I can't believe that (based on my own experience)--I'll find some other references which discuss the issue. Dougg 08:13, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

- Eventually, I hope, grammatical information particular to this dialect will be included here but I think it might be best to have a pointer to Western Desert Language for general phonology, grammar, etc. Dougg 09:35, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Ethnologue gives these two citations, and there appear to be more from consulting Google scholar.

Latin script
[edit]The fact that a script system for this language has been developed, using latin letters, should be noted as such, giving additional information when and by whom this has been developed. --L.Willms 14:40, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- As far as I know all native Australian language use the Latin script, usually without Umlaut etc. This should be put in the relevant areas. Enlil Ninlil 05:03, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Underlined letters
[edit]The article says "Pitjantjatjara requires the following underlined letters": why? What do the underlines signify? Zoe 07:33, 4 October 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zoe Buchanan (talk • contribs)
- I've altered that section to better reflect the confusion. — Ƶ§œš¹ [lɛts b̥iː pʰəˈlaɪˀt] 15:04, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
