Readability improvements needed
[edit]I am interested in doing a general edit of the whole article, but have started with only one section (Cost) to see if others would support this. My edit preserves all information and all references that were previously part of the paragraph. If we want this entry to be a source of education for the general public, it would be good to reduce sentence length to 15-20 words and target a grade level of at least 12. (The New York Times targets 6, The Wall Street Journal targets 11.)
The edit I just did on "Cost" (which scored the worst of all sections): Avg Words per Sentence was 34.5; is now 16.8 Reading Ease was 23.4; is now 45.6 (out of a possible 100) Grade Level was 18.5; is now 11
Scores for the article overall are: Avg Words per Sentence: 26 Reading Ease: 30.3 Grade Level: 15.3
Let me know your thoughts on my doing additional editing to improve readability.PlanetCare 19:20, 1 August 2017 (UTC) PlanetCare 19:22, 1 August 2017 (UTC)u17
