Cheetos character

I remember hearing that the Cheetos mascot is based off of the Pink Panther. 71.250.17.62 18:07, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

90's?

What about the 90s series? I used to love watching that on YTV all the time --Phred Levi 22:02, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh, okay, I see it. A paragraph. That's great. --Phred Levi 02:30, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

computer game?

i could swear there was a computer game made with this charcter...i have it somewher. I think it's called Passport to Paris or something like that —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 125.236.161.94 (talk) 08:07, 28 March 2007 (UTC).

I remember a videogame for the SNES, but can't remember its name. Vicco Lizcano 15:34, 4 April 2007 (UTC) (Tell me where I'm wrong)

Yes There was a computer game based on this character. It was called The Pink Panther's Passport to Peril. There was an article about this game but it got deleted. If we could add it back on here that would be great

The AGENCY

There is this cool web comic out called The AGENCY. This has quite a bit of different animated characters from different universes, and one of the characters is the Pink Panther, himself! Maybe we could create a Wikipedia page about this web comic; You guys have to read it first, though (I've already read through it all) at the point I've written this). To read the comic, look for JediAnn Solo on Drunk Duck Webcomics. Add to this section if you are ready to create a new page! List of animated shorts

I think the List of animated shorts should get his own page (stub, or whatever) and be linked from this article, or get a different layout because right now, it just takes too much space. Vicco Lizcano 15:35, 4 April 2007 (UTC) (Tell me where I'm wrong)

Asterisk

Isn't an asterisk a frequent character? --Error 22:31, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Car

Something should be said about the custom car that appears in the opening sequences. --Error 22:31, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Laugh track

Some of the Pink Panther cartoons had a laugh track and some didn't. Is there any rhyme or reason to this? -Rolypolyman 02:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

That's probably because you've got the DVDs of the episodes. The shorts were edited for television to include a laugh track. Most of them were released unedited on the DVD. Some shorts, however, are shown in their edited forms. That's probably the reason. -- MISTER ALCOHOL T C 20:52, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Instant Hole

This may not be the proper place to ask but I couldn't find any more appropriate place. (Note: the BCDB linked to in the main article doesn't appear to exist anymore.) I distinctly recall seeing an episode of the Pink Panther years ago about a instant hole (something that may very well have inspired the Portal game. I've purchased the 4-disc DVD 'cartoon collection' box and watched all episodes but I didn't find it back. No matter where I look on the web, I can only find information about an Aardvark episode with an instant hole. Is my memory playing tricks with me? The Seventh Taylor 20:25, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Instant Hole appears in the Ant and the Aardvark episode "Hasty But Tasty" (i.e. "I hate you, Instant Hole" -- as he says after the anvil falls on his head). I'm not aware of any Pink Panther episodes. Your memory may be vague because the Ant and the Aardvark was a feature cartoon on the Pink Panther television show (Saturday mornings). Girl or Boy?

Is the pink panther a boy or girl becuase it seems she is a girl in the short animated programs then i saw some programs were it does speak and its a boys voice? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wwenormalfan (talkcontribs) 20:53, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Given than in the episode where The Pink Panther is messing with the drunk witch's wand, the Pink Panther ends up turning the witch into a female panther (she wears a dress or a tutu); I'd guess The Pink Panther is a male. Vicco Lizcano (talk) 18:09, 5 March 2008 (UTC) (Hey! Listen!)

Running gag

Whenever the Pink Panther enters a car wash, he exits either as a ball of fluff, or fluffy all over. I think the same thing happens in washer-dryers. If this is noted elsewhere, I didn't know. NBK1122 (talk) 09:50, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

What sort of panther

Has it ever been explained what sort of panther the pink panther is supposed to be? Nil Einne (talk) 14:28, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

No. It has never been explained. All we know is that the Pink Panther is a type of feline, but other than that, it is unexplained... at the moment. -- MISTER ALCOHOL T C 12:00, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
