Harmonic progression

[edit]

Continuing from User talk:Eusebeus#Piano Sonata in B-flat minor .28Reubke.29: this whole article and my response amounts to original research, so apologies. I looked at the score myself, and the author is wrong about the final chord in the progression, at least in its initial statement. It is clearly a half-diminished seventh built on E♭: E♭-G♭-B♭♭-D♭. He must have misread the D♭ as a D♭♭. I will remove mention of that chord from the article for the time being. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yano (talkcontribs) 01:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Some of this is easily backed up by references- that the sonata was finished in 1857, e.g., and the structure of the sonata. But who claims it was begun in December 1856- is there a source for that? Schissel | Sound the Note! 15:19, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
