The result of the move request was: moved. The nominator has provided sufficient evidence of recent sources using the name "Pia Whitesell", and no sources have been provided of usage of Pia Miller. I also agree with 力's point that the reliability of the sources provided isn't great but its sufficient for this case. (non-admin closure) VRtalk19:16, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Upon reflection, I oppose this move until and unless "Pia Miller" makes a name for herself under a new name. See my question to Carly above. I base this on the Wikipedia policy WP:COMMONNAME, "the term or name most typically used in reliable sources is generally preferred." I discount the primarily PR accounts of her wedding. It is the in-depth and substantive reliable sources that count. I note that Carly for Endeavor PR is a paid contributor, see her disclosure above under the "$", and further note that to date Carly has made a total of three edits, all of them to this talk page. --Bejnar (talk) 16:51, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment According to WP:NAMECHANGES the following is relevant: " Sometimes the subject of an article will undergo a change of name. When this occurs, we give extra weight to reliable sources written after the name change. If the reliable sources written after the change is announced routinely use the new name, Wikipedia should follow suit and change relevant titles to match."
Support in general Wikipedia articles are quickly renamed after a person changes their name, and I see no reason not to do so here. Gossip rags are sufficient coverage for this type of move. User:力 (powera, π, ν) 22:22, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
