word origin
[edit]What is the origin of using the word PLANT in this sense?-96.233.20.129 (talk) 23:29, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
Marking the article for cleanup
[edit]When reading the article, the layout seems a bit strange. For instance, the section on power plants contains only a subsection on nuclear power; maybe it could be expanded with information about coal or hydroelectric plants? And wouldn't broadcast engineering fall under telecommunications, as a form of communication over distances?
Additionally, there were a lot of grammatical and typographical errors present, which could probably be easily copyedited out.
Finally, I feel like a lot of content is overlapping with those from other pages. For example, the sections on nuclear power and desalination plants all have a respective main article which would probably contain aspects of plant design.
I'm kinda new to Wikipedia editing though, if anyone disagrees with the tag, let me know. I'm also happy to help expand/reorganize the article as needed. Pg 4919 (talk) 01:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
