Reputation?

[edit]

Is there any information about Rosedale's history and/or reputation? People ought to have a better idea of someone who potentially has access to credit card and personal information, especially since no one has heard of this guy before Second Life started. Aside from everyone working at RealNetworks. And don't you mean "especially since I never heard of this guy before Second Life started." ?

No, that's not what I meant, and please don't put words in my mouth. Maybe you can write a paragraph or two about Rosedale since you seem to be the expert on Second Life. More information on this page would give me reason to agree that more people have heard of him. Nuzz604 23:32, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know the guy who is the head of your ISP Nuzz604? He has access to ceedit card and personal information too. If I were you, I would find out everything you can about him really quickly. StanPomeray 11:47, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could we clean up the "and pornographer" bit and the silly thing about the shrine in Tethys? --Lordfly Digeridoo 164.76.9.114 (talk) 15:39, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This guy is unbelievably bright. I lived across the street from him when we were kids, and I'm not at all surprised by his achievements. I have known many geniuses and geeks, and Phil is the smartest I've personally known. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.41.27.81 (talk) 04:37, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FreeVue

[edit]

FreeVue is not the name of his company, but rather the name of the program that attracted RealNetworks' attention. <http://www.inc.com/magazine/20070201/hidi-rosedale.html> Is there any way that this could be clarified?

Consider it clarified. -- Eddy (talk|contribs) 21:33, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Considering the link to coffee and power appears to be dead and done, if anyone knows what he's doing these days, the article could use an update. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.169.0 (talk) 12:16, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
