On hold pending copy-editing. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:21, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review. Will get to this later today sometime. Connormah (talk) 22:22, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Writing and formatting
[edit]- Some unneeded repetition - in the lead we see "Upon his" x 2, repeat of retirement in 1915, "took up" x 2, etc
- Some copy-editing is needed here - for example, what is the "United Kingsdon"?
- An embarrassing typo it is. Connormah (talk) 23:59, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- The first para of Early life uses "He" repeatedly, and it's not entirely clear where his father stops and Philip begins
- Macleod or Macloed?
- Ellipses should not be set with square brackets
- Need more hyphens - for example, "three-round salute"
Accuracy and verifiability
[edit]- Order Bibliography alphabetically?
- Ref 8: legislative assembly is the publisher, not the author
- Ref 12: Alberta Online Encyclopedia could be considered either a work or a publisher, but is definitely not an author
- Why include publisher location for one bibliography entry and not the other two
Broad
[edit]Some minor repetition of information
Neutrality
[edit]No issues noted
Stability
[edit]No issues noted
Images
[edit]- Source link for 1914 NWMP image is dead
- Linking to Glenbow Archives files online doesn't always work, I've removed the link. Connormah (talk) 00:02, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
