Writing and formatting

[edit]
  • Some unneeded repetition - in the lead we see "Upon his" x 2, repeat of retirement in 1915, "took up" x 2, etc
  • Some copy-editing is needed here - for example, what is the "United Kingsdon"?
  • The first para of Early life uses "He" repeatedly, and it's not entirely clear where his father stops and Philip begins
  • Macleod or Macloed?
  • Ellipses should not be set with square brackets
  • Need more hyphens - for example, "three-round salute"

Accuracy and verifiability

[edit]
  • Order Bibliography alphabetically?
  • Ref 8: legislative assembly is the publisher, not the author
  • Ref 12: Alberta Online Encyclopedia could be considered either a work or a publisher, but is definitely not an author
  • Why include publisher location for one bibliography entry and not the other two

Broad
