Untitled
[edit]This article is sourced mainly by election manifesto, BBC Radio Jersey website news and the Jersey Evening Post, the main newspaper for Jersey. No personal information about the individuals family - even if it appears on the manifesto, and is therefore in the public domain - is mentioned here in order to preserve privacy.

Recent Changes
[edit]Comments have been made that "Philip Ozouf is often called 'the power behind the throne' and is considered to have been designated successor to Chief Minister Frank Walker." This is (a) anonymous; (b) unsourced - who says this, where, how often? I have therefore removed these, as it is a living person bio. --TonyinJersey 07:38, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Battle of Flowers
[edit]Can anyone source the news story on the Battle of Flowers last year when Phillip O made an unauthorised transfer of funds?

Notable achievements
[edit]This section presently reads "Ozouf was responsible for 'cleaning up' the Jersey fulfillment industry by preventing companies who sought to exploit the UK VAT threshold by establishing a Jersey mailbox. The move drew criticism from Deputy Geoff Southern, as Chair of the Economic Affairs scrutiny panel, however the move was welcomed by Jersey businesses."
Begs the question what exactly is "cleaning up"? Also, there were several companies exploiting the LVCR, agents operating on behalf of Amazon.co.uk, for example. So, this was not prevented.
I am not really seeing a notable achievement here, it sounds a bit vague, as is. Unless someone can expand on this, I will modify or remove this at a later date.Danrok (talk) 15:37, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

Neutrality
[edit]I think this article needs to be updated with recent events. As it stands it does not look neutral to me, for example it has no "Criticism" section, but does have an "Ongoing campaigns" which reads like a wish-list from a election manifesto. Danrok (talk) 20:26, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
