This entry is about a market, or company, and not an individual.

It covers groups of people as well. Ryūlóng 06:46, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, of course a company is a group of people. Please advise on how to create it as an entry about the company. User:zoticogrillo

Some of the citations requested in this article are related to subjective information, which will require editing. However, here is one citation found on the web as to the quality of the products provided in this market. http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=000tls User:zoticogrillo 19 September 2006

Subjective information doesn't require editing, it requires citation AND ATTRIBUTION to reliable sources or it requires nuking. See WP:NPOV and WP:Reliable sources --Calton | Talk 07:33, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, reliable sources are important, which is why I didn't use that link above as a citation in the article. Thanks for your reply. User:zoticogrillo

This article is based on a company in San Francisco that was founded by my great-grandfather. The company, now defunct, is still very famous to everyone in the SF Bay Area. I am doing my best to find reliable source information, but it is difficult. This is my first wiki posting, and I am of course very busy. Thank you for your assistance and patience. User:zoticogrillo

I have learned a few things from this little project: 1. If you can't find something on the internet, people tend to assume it doesn't exist; 2. The tendency for people to be superficial and rude to other individuals over the internet pervades even "enlightened" web projects such as this one; 3. most of the "editors" of wikipedia have too much time on their hands, but not enough to really do anything useful. user:zoticogrillo

Sources

[edit]

I added the citation style tag, because the in-text citations are not Wiki-style, and should be moved to footnotes. This seems to be a well sourced article, but I wonder at some of the text being biased as well.--Ikefox 18:04, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the articles and sources contained the opinions of the authors, it is true, but those have been included here because of the frequency of the appearance of such statements. Zoticogrillo (talk) 09:36, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photo information

[edit]

I was hoping to add more information to (and get more information about) the Petrini_Meats_guys.jpg photo. My Uncle Louie Maggioncalda, (third from the left) passed away a few days ago (23feb11). My Aunt Francis (his widow) would really appreciate knowing all of the names. Can you provide me any information on the source of the photo? We think we have 7 of the 9 recalled. Thank you for your time. Stevemagg (talk) 06:38, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • "I'm working on a wikipedia posting on Petrini's. So far, I have managed to draft what is on that site http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Petrini's but I will be adding more information, particularly about Frank Petrini's innovative business strategies, as I find the time."
