Criticism Section

[edit]

User: 82.153.115.221 has taken issue with criticizing Pomerantsev "for being friendly with other anti-Putin people". It is slightly more nuanced than that; Mark Ames criticizes Pomerantsev for being — not friends but — employed or in service of anti-Putin people... and for having written a book where the veracity of some of the stories is difficult to verify... on purpose. These are substantive criticisms, especially in light of the thesis of Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible. It's not disputed that the pedigree of these ideas insect with other anti-anti-Putin people (RT.com, etc.) and can be seen as problematic for those reasons. I just came across. Criticizing someone "for associating with colleagues" who are not supporters of Putin? Is it even a "criticism"? Absurd. Removed. My very best wishes (talk) 22:55, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
