Are there any sources to back up the statements in the Notoriety section cause if that stuff is true the guy has really pissed away his life. --Bushido Brown 22:00, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Knockout

[edit]

I'm not a big boxing person, but was there more than one McNeeley vs Tyson fight? Because the article says Tyson knocked out McNeeley, but I just saw a video of the fight recently, and McNeeley's corner called it quits, there was a knockdown in the fight but no knockout. Unless there was another fight that's talking about it needs to be corrected. MMAACKS 04:14, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was only one fight, and his trainer stopped the fight after he was knocked down twice. I don't know my boxing lingo enough to edit the page though. - Vorenus 15:51, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He got dropped once in the first few seconds..then he got dropped again, he was more badly hurt..but lane was going to let it go on...Peter would have most likely taken a few more shots, been dropped again, that would have been a third knockdown, which under the rules in the state would have been a automatic TKO (three knockdowns in one round...techincal knockout) however, Peter's corner came into the ring, making it a DQ by Nevada state rules. Basically Peter was on his way to being taken out, but it was techincally not a KO..sometimes boxing records give tyson credit for a KO (a ko is recorded the same as a tko in your record) other times he isnt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.46.89 (talk) 02:03, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
