Peter The Clown & The Expos
[edit]Can someone insert how gammons would come on espn baseball tonight, i think around 1995, and state EVERY NIGHT that there should not be a franchise in montreal. That MLB needs to retract or move the expos. Mention How he helped contribute to the demise of 'Les Expos'. All his rants about how bad the expos were but gammons fails to remember the 1994 expos had the best record in MLB and in my opinion played the NYY in the world series. Oops
[edit]In a good faith effort to revert some vandalism, I accidentally inserted some vandalism by a previous editor [1]. It was quickly reverted back to the correct information; I just wanted to make it known that Mr. Gammons is very much alive. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 02:06, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Gammons religion?
[edit]Can someone insert Gammon's religion? is he a jew, Christian, etc? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.33.76.162 (talk) 04:59, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Why is it relevant? Who gives a shit about what imaginary sky god, if any, he chooses to worship?
native state
[edit]"his great-great-great-great-grandfather was Ethan Allen, one of the founders of his native state of Vermont.[6]" Allen's native state?? The article says Gammons was born in Boston. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.241.123 (talk) 23:47, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
"Well known supporter" of Roger Clemens?
[edit]In a very, very long career, Gammons has written thousands of articles about thousands of players. Is there some non-obvious reason one article he wrote about Roger Clemens is noteworthy enough to be elevated to a status equal to that of a book he authored? It seems more like insinuation and opinion than a relaying of relevant facts, which seems contrary to Wikipedia's mission. 67.255.253.90 (talk) 04:53, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
