[edit]It would be interesting to see if the widely-blogged story about Dacre's WWII activities could be pinned down one way or another. I believe WWII service records are now in the public domain in the UK, so it should be possible to pull up his service records, if they exist. Similarly, it should also be possible to find his newspaper reports, if they exist and came with a by-line, in the newspaper archives. -- The Anome (talk) 12:03, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
