Floated article
[edit]I noticed something unusual. When I look at a WSJ article entitled Facebook CEO in No Rush To 'Friend' Wall Street, if I go there from my browser directly (not via Wikipedia) I get the full article with Zuckerberg's picture and a mention of Peter Currie. But if I click on the reference via Wikipedia, I don't get the full story. Why is this? Here's the url:--Tomwsulcer (talk) 08:58, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

What I'm saying is this: if I click on the link above, I get the abbreviated article; if I cut and paste the link, and put it into my Firefox browser, I get the full article. I don't understand this.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 08:59, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Anyway, needs picture, as usual. And the article could be expanded and checked for errors or omissions.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 08:58, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- I imagine that you, or your employer/college/etc, have a subscription to Wall Street Journal. The link from Wikipedia goes to the publicly-accessible version of the database. PamD (talk) 10:33, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- You're right. That's probably what is happening. Didn't even think about it since I never use the WSJ online stuff but somehow it knows it's me. Well, the reference is still viable but most others can't see (quickly) the mention of Peter Currie. I'm probably going to remove the WSJ from my search lists. And thanks for figuring this out.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 12:00, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
