Notability?

[edit]

I suggest that Mr. Armstrong doesn't meet the criteria in WP:ARCHITECT.

  • Not WIDELY cited by peers or successors;
  • Not known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique;
  • Has not created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work which been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work such as a book, film, or more than one episode of a television series;
  • His work or works have not become a significant monument, been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, or won significant critical attention.

If his architecture is noteworthy -- if this article is not a crafty attempt to dodge Wikipedia's WP:NOTPROMO stance -- why does this article cite an award for supporting Sumo wrestling in Australia as one of the two awards it lists? Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 10:03, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
