I chose this article because it discuses a archeologist which is a field that I want to go into. It matters because having knowledge on what a person in the historical community has done and written in relation to what they study can provide a good background of evaluating if they are a trusty source. My preliminary impression of what the article was that it provided a straight to the point background of the person and what they have done in the historical field.
Everything in the article helps to better understand what the person has done and it provides links to continue looking into them. It could provide more information on what the person did on their excavation and what they wrote in their papers. It has no clear bias to anyone in the article it is very fact focused. It has a limited amount of information that would not be useful if one were to site the article for an essay. This would be a good jumping off point to get someone on the right track to form what they want to do for an essay. Historian Women (talk) 14:34, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
