Supposed to be the history of use of pesticides in NZ?

[edit]

The heading says Pesticides in New Zealand but it contains two which are banned in New Zealand, DDT and 2,4,5,T. Does someone plan to add info re their historical use pre banning? Kaiwhakahaere (talk) 23:18, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I created the stub article. The article will incorporate the history of pesticide use in NZ. Unless someone is enthusiatic and can create articles on current use and the history of pesticide use this article should cover both areas. I will be adding to the article at some stage - including a history. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 03:58, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Poor quality

[edit]

This is a very poorly written article, with many statements not backed up with references. The article is dated and in many cases incorrect. I suggest that this entry either be completely rewritten or deleted. I note the original author indicated in December 2008 they would improve it. This was never done and I believe it would be better to start from scratch. Brain696 (talk) 05:43, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Marked for Deletion

[edit]

After nearly two years, I notice nothing has been done to fix up this article. I propose it be deleted. Brain696 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:12, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, looking at the edit history of this article over the last two years, your comment is evidently untrue, Brain696. Secondly, you have now prodded the article a second time. Please read up on Wikipedia:Proposed deletion; an article can be prodded only once. Schwede66 01:15, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pesticides and herbicides

[edit]

Was going to add herbicide glyphosate into this article, but unsure about whether "herbicide" fits under pesticides. Qwertyxp2000 (talk | contribs) 06:14, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
