- "Look. The 1970 Columbia album predates the CBC album. I know this because when I arrived in Stratford early in the summer of 1970 the first album was already completed. Having recorded their strongest material on that first Columbia album, Cedric and Richard, when invited to make a CBC transcription album, lamented that they were a little shy of original material for such a project.
- "Myself and Michael McConkey sang on that transcription album; I recall being disappointed in our timing, as we missed entirely being asked to help on the first album, with harmony or something. The CBC album however, is cool. It has some very interesting moments, cobbled up for the sessions, and Gale Garnett joined us, to add her terrific voice.
- "So many things happened so quickly then; concerts and recording all sort of packed into a three to four year moment. It was awesome. My sources are me,Terry Jones, 4Jul14, Toronto"
