That's how she's described in the first sentence, but I suspect that we should use one term for the honour or the other, not both. Anyone know for sure? Grutness...wha? 08:00, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Have added a little more biographical information, most of it from the article linked.

Being a member of a parish in Auckland, and active in the wider church, I don't think it is at all accurate to describe the church as a "predominantly male institution". This indicates a lack of balance.Ncox 01:04, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Its use in the article indicates clearly that it refers to the church as it was at the time, which was very much male-dominated. there has been a lot of change in the Anglican Church in the last few years.
