[edit]

What is this article about, the PA House District OR the Federal Congressional District? The article shows a map of the PA state house district, but the article goes on to talk about the incumbent, Keith Rothfus, who is a member of Congress at the Federal level. The PA State House member in PA 12 is Daryl Metcalfe.

The correct map for Rothfus's Federal district can be found here: http://ballotpedia.org/Pennsylvania's_12th_Congressional_District

Not sure if I should fix the article or fix the picture.

Errors on Map

[edit]

Hiya -- the map of the district effective in 2019 has an error: The city of Williamsport in Lycoming County is identified as Duboistown. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:987:4100:77ED:30BC:EF7:3F2E:2331 (talk) 02:26, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2022 election

[edit]

Why is the result of the 2022 election listed as a "Democratic hold"? Shouldn't it be a "Democratic gain from Republican", as the previous representative was a Republican? SchnazMan (talk) 02:24, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pennsylvania was redistricted for the 2022 election. The representative for the area that became the new 12th district, Mike Doyle, is also a Democrat. Doyle retired after 2022. To add to any confusion, the Mike Doyle against whom Summer Lee ran and won is not related to the incumbent Mike Doyle. —ADavidB 11:10, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. Confusing, indeed. Thanks! SchnazMan (talk) 17:38, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
