Claims to fame

[edit]

BBC Comedy series 'School Mates' filmed at St Pauls CofE school - I cannot find any evidence of this existing. Flagged citation needed. Anyone know of this programme? Æthelred (talk) 14:13, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing reference to 'School Mates', as there is no evidence that I can find of its existance, almost 10 months after flagging for citation. Æthelred (talk) 14:09, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The brook

[edit]

'The brook'. Having looked on Google maps at the area I am wondering if 'the brook' is actually 'Moat Brook'. Would a local person be able to confirm this?

It's not, as the Moat Brook runs through Bilbrook as a tributary to the River Penk, meeting the Penk near Pendeford Mill - this is to the north west of the brook mentioned. The brook in question is a further tributary to the Penk, shown on old maps, that is now culverted beneath the housing estate, meeting the Penk at the newly designated Pendeford Wood (to the north of The Droveway). Unfortunately, I have no idea if this brook has a name. Æthelred (talk) 10:54, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Separate Pendeford Airfield page

[edit]

In that way it can be in a list of disused airfields. Mariegriffiths (talk) 18:35, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
