Looks really good! I think I only made a couple minor edits. I also added the course banner. One question though, the "Description" header doesn't seem to have anything under it? This was a very informative read, and also great job on creating your own article. For the most part, I changed some of the sentence structure, wording, and corrected some typos to make the article flow better. I also recommend putting up a picture as well. I particularly liked the ideal free distribution model—it reminded me of what we learned in class, and I thought it was neat that this could be applied to the number of stem mothers and leaf size. I’m slightly confused as to what the relationship is between the stem mother, the gall occupants, and the sexual males and females with no mouthparts. Also, what and how does the stem mother gauge the chemical environment of a leaf? I’m also not entirely sure what the sentence “Fruiting bodies also act as resource sinks, and the same study found that removing female catkins near an aphid's gall led to a 31% increase in gall success,” is doing. Could you either go into more detail, or just omit it completely? It’s a solid section without it. Also, what is “tree resistance to colonization”? Great job overall! For this article, I made some slight alterations to the writing style, editing for clarity proper grammar. I corrected several typos and citations. I also changed some sentences and separated run-ons to make the article flow better. I clarified several pieces of information, such as what tree the stem mother originates on and the common names of this tree. I italicized species names, and I also indicated several places where a citation would be beneficial.

Overall, I found the article to be informative and well-written. However, I would suggest expanding the “Description” section of the article and the introduction to provide more information on the species. I would also provide information on the environment the P. betae inhabits, what it eats and where it is found. It would also be beneficial to state who conducts the studies mentioned (an example being which researchers performed studies concerning 14C). I would refer to P. betae by its common name throughout the article, as this would make the article more comprehensible to readers. I would also suggest clarifying the relationships between the stem mother, the gall occupants, and the sexual males and females with no mouthparts. I added a section on Habitat and dispersion, as well as I corrected some minor grammar issues and added a small section on the stem mother's relationship with the gall occupants, particularly the non-sexual occupants. Other members of my group (for a class we are taking) are adding more on the description and introduction to the animal, as well as pictures and other specific information. I added on to the introductory section and the "Description" section. It was actually somewhat difficult to find specific anatomical information, as most sources I found were rather vague about it. If anyone could point me to a good source with plenty of information about the characteristics about the aphid, I would be more than happy to make further additions. Also, it was mentioned above to clarify how exactly the insect gauged the chemical environment--I included a few sentences about how aphids in general detect their surroundings with their sensory systems. Moreover, I agreed that it got tiring to see the scientific name all through the article, so I replaced them with the common name. I am part of the group that Ldorn1227 mentioned, and even though we found pictures, I was hesitant about inserting them because I believe it would have violated copyright laws.
