This is absolutely ridiculous. It seems that almost each page I make or contribute to, this same person is contesting them and saying they're not good enough for him/her.
This page is more than valid, as it refers to a real person who illustrated real books, which were quite popular. Her artwork was used by the former major publisher Grosset & Dunlap, on numerous series' they published.
I've included samples of her artwork, included links for further examples, and a link to further information on the artist (albeit not much information, but it is another source!). I don't know everything about her, so I can't add everything there is to know. That is why this page should be here, so others with the information can add it! Isn't that the point of Wikipedia?
Please stop harassing people that are simply trying to add more information to Wikipedia, and make it a better place! I understand that improvements can always be made, but to consistently label all my attempts as meaningless is ridiculous and arrogant.TrentJerome (talk) 03:21, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No one is harassing you and if you want to make Wikipedia a better place, start by learning the guidelines. We have notability standards and you can't just add pages on all your favorite topics because you like them or feel they are important. See WP:BIO for how to establish notability for people. -- AnmaFinotera (talk·contribs) 03:28, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
