Green cheese

Does anyone know why the Pecorino in the picture used here appears to be a minty shade of green? Or is it a problem, with my screen / eye sight? I like Pecorino more than I should, but if it turned up looking green, I fear I might find it resistible. Especially if (as the caption entered for this picture in the German wikipedia entry indicates) I had acquired the cheese on the understanding that it was going to be red.
