An IP has repeatedly deleted information of the secret tapes made by an environmental group of conversations with Pebble mine executives (please see IP's comments). These tapes were widely publicized and discussed by Alaska and other political representatives [1] I have reverted this IP's deletes. Gandydancer (talk) 20:36, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ridiculous. This has been all over the news up here, there's plenty of sources, it's a major scandal that has already caused the CEO to quit. Removing properly sourced information just because you don't like it, and refusing to discuss the matter is not how we do things. I've warned them for edit warring. If they keep it up either a block or page protection should be the next step. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:24, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and protected for a few days. If the person in Texas who is making these edits would like to discuss the matter, that's one thing, but repeatedly blanking large sections of sourced content is not ok. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:40, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
