A fact from Peak beard appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 27 May 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that we don't know if peak beard has ended?

Overall: Fun and interesting article (even for someone like me who has been clean-shaven all their lives!). QPQ checks out. Earwig detects no problems. The only issue is that the cited source here does not confirm what the hooks say. The closest it comes to that are statements that say "Any signs of the beard finally fading were obscured by the pandemic" and "But how does this all end? Is the demise of the beard, so long predicted, just round the corner, or have cultural trends now become atomized to the extent that we’ll be obliged to live with all of them, simultaneously, in perpetuity?", neither one quite blaming the pandemic for a delay in the potential decline in popularity of men's beards. Otherwise, this DYK is top-notch.CurryTime7-24 (talk) 21:16, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Seddon: OK, everything good to go now. Strong preference for ALTs 3 and 5. I hope you don't mind, but I piped in a couple articles into ALT 3 for clarity. Great work! —CurryTime7-24 (talk) 00:44, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@CurryTime7-24: (and @Seddon:) you added hooks ALT2 to ALT5 and you can't approve your own hooks, so the review status needs to be {{subst:DYK?again}}. Also you don't need to strike your comments when they have been answered, see WP:REDACT. TSventon (talk) 09:20, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
