Problems with this article

[edit]

Hi everyone. This article has a few problems. The way the content is organised doesn't really make sense, and the section "Portfolio related" is essentially a laundry list of things she has done, without much attempt for balance - I'm pretty sure quite a few of those things have been criticised by the opposition. I think it would be better to arrange the article chronologically rather than splitting out controversy and Portfolio related? Anyone else have any thoughts? (Also a picture is really needed!) — Ballofstring (talk) 04:58, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article is now better than it was in 2014 but will need some work to bring it up to a quality suitable for a Deputy PM of NZ. The picture is out of date: it should be possible to use one of the pictures available around the time of her elevation to DPM in December 2016. [edit]

Bennett was born in Auckland but grew up in Taupo. She lived there from the age of 4 to around 23.(Citations in article) Other BLPs may have more than one place of origin listed as a category at the bottom of the article. In particular, politicians should have this because they have an informal constituency of supporters in the place where they grew up, who are proud of the person's success and how it reflects on the region. The BLP for NZ Prime Minister Bill English has both Lumsden (birthplace) and Dipton (childhood/early adulthood home). For accuracy, please keep both place of origin categories in this article. --EvidenceFairy (talk) 08:11, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
