Avars

[edit]

This article mentions the Avars but WIkipedia has two articles about Avars: Caucasian and Eurasian. To which does this article refer? Jaberwocky6669 21:56, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)

Commentaries on the Regula Benedicti

[edit]

This article also fails to mention the important commentary that Paul the Deacon composed regarding the observance and practice of Benedictine monasticism. This work, usually taken as part of the Warnefrid-Hildemar commentaries, is integral to an understanding of monasticism in the Early Medieval period. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.132.195.197 (talk) 18:40, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"from a medieval manuscript"

[edit]

Please don't do this. "A medieval manuscript" is, by itself, not a reference. This is being done all over the place, I have no idea why it isn't challenged more often. --dab (𒁳) 11:11, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
