Hi Edivorce, as a materials physicist, I can affirm that his profile meets the WP notability requirements. I will be adding some content also, regarding his contribution to revealing the Schön scandal, and also his contribution in writing Chapter 18 of Charles Kittel's "Introduction to Solid State Physics", 8ed (which is a very widely used textbook of the field).
