The portion of the article on Paul Lukas’s zine, Beer Frame, is incorrect. It was not about beer. “Beer Frame” is a bowling term. The zine was a precursor to the Inconspicuous Consumption web site and book. It included reviews of everyday objects, food products, packaging, etc. For example, one issue featured a detailed article about the Brannock Device (the thing they measure your feet with at shoe stores).
