Hull
[edit]Paul Heaton was brought up in Sheffield, not Hull. He moved to Hull later - see e.g. http://www.beautifulsouth.org/tbs/hm/HM_book03.htm -- roundhouse 14:29, 19 April 2007 (UTC) Paul Heaton is a well known Blades supporter, not heard of him supporting Hull City. I went to a league match in 1985 at the old Boothferry Park between Hull and SUFC and Heaton was stood on the away end with the Sheffield United supporters.

Writing quality
[edit]This article is in dire need of a full copy-edit. The writing quality is filled with slang, poor grammar, and the structure isn't terribly good, either. Also, the article is filled with unsourced facts, including possible original research. Wellspring (talk) 16:01, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Article improvement
[edit]I am going to (hopefully) improve this article. Any suggestions, let us know.Mtaylor848 (talk) 19:46, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Paul Heaton
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Paul Heaton's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Place of Birth
[edit]Cannot find any reference to him being born in Wales. All points to Merseyside or Cheshire. Karst (talk) 09:42, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, my mistake. I have self reverted my rv of the IP user. Seems the Welsh addition was added unnoticed on the 5th May by an 86. IP address. Sorry. Gricehead (talk) 09:46, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- No worries, shows you how this type of vandalism goes unnoticed sometimes. Karst (talk) 10:14, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
