Article Neutrality

[edit]

I would like to begin a discussion regarding the neutrality of this article. I have highlighted a number of statements that are not cited and appear to be from a non-NPOV. Please also include verifiable criticism as well as self promotion/praise. I have raised several questions in-line to encourage neutrality, clarification and verifiability. I propose making changes in 4 days time if it appears no discussion is required.

Basic NPOV changes

[edit]

I have changed some clear examples of this i.e. "Young was born in Yorkshire and raised in the small mining town of Trimdon Station, County Durham" to "Young was born in Yorkshire and raised in Trimdon Station, County Durham".

Paul A Young Fine Chocolates Ltd

[edit]

I would like to discuss that too much article is dedicated to the the above mentioned company and Paul's career. The article should focus on Paul A Young. As it is, his company constitutes almost half the information in the article and important categories such as early life and personal life are almost stubs or non existent.

Tone

[edit]

Articles should document in a non-partisan manner what reliable secondary sources have published about the subject

Balance

[edit]

Criticism and praise should be included if they can be sourced to reliable secondary sources, so long as the material is presented responsibly, conservatively, and in a disinterested tone. Do not give disproportionate space to particular viewpoints. Tindy1986 (talk) 02:11, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  1. I have deleted all unverified information regarding Paul. I have left some information regarding his shops as they clearly exist but would encourage someone to find a secondary source not published by the subject to reference them.
  2. I have removed peacock terms and self promoting materials information that did not impart any substantiation informations
  3. I have removed information copied from his website Tindy1986 (talk) 01:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
