So she has a "parent" but not parents? Who is her mother? 24.107.126.116 (talk) 03:35, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a consensus on her innocence or guilt now?

[edit]

The article is largely about the legal process, which ended in her being pardoned. Has the question been settled or is it still unclear? 2603:7081:1603:A300:67D9:B5E2:7292:F39A (talk) 13:22, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The consensus is that she committed the crimes she was convicted of. She never denied it, and in fact committed more crimes than she was charged with (kidnapping, felony murder {from the Crocker National Bank robbery}, and possibly attempted murder from the failed bombings).
Pardons also have no bearing on guilt or innocence. They are simply an ability of an executive (president or governor) to grant immunity to a criminal charge. It is based solely on the opinion of a single person that the individual does not deserve any punishment, even if the pardoner thinks they are guilty. JSory (talk) 01:30, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
