Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it has just been begun. The subject, composer Patrick Grant, has created music for some of the most significant artists (theatrical, concert, and in the visuals arts) of the 20th & 21st centuries, all of them having an in-depth presence on Wikipedia. The article, as it will be fleshed out, will contain nothing but reliable citations as set out in the Wiki guidelines. The subject has won awards and accrued numerous nominations in his work on three continents. Please do not delete this article since the subject has many verifiable connections to other articles and persons on Wiki. Thank you for taking the time.
I have been interested in the subject's music for the past couple of years. I did meet him once, earlier this year, when he gave a public performance in my city. I was amazed that he did not have a Wiki entry so I chose to begin an article created from the cited sources I could find.TiltedAxer (talk) 17:52, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
