Fair use rationale for Image:Patricia Quinn.jpg
[edit]Image:Patricia Quinn.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 19:13, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Nationality
[edit]Which idiot wrote she was an Irish citizen; Quinn is from Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is a part of the UK (not Ireland), making her British. It even says "British" in her infobox. Either the work of an Irish radical or a ignorant moron. 2A00:23C7:ED16:2401:1CF7:B942:1625:923 (talk) 15:01, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
Requested move 19 April 2024
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
It was proposed in this section that multiple pages be renamed and moved.

– I suggest that the British actress is the primary topic. She does have a fairly lengthy career, including important parts in two very well-known productions, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "I, Claudius". The other two are not quite on this scale. (This also avoids the problem of whether we should call her a British actress when she comes from Belfast.) - Oppose as proposed, but would support an alternative option of Patricia Quinn (British actress) → Patricia Quinn, paired with Patricia Quinn → deleted to make room for move per WP:ONEOTHER. There are only three entries listed upon the Patricia Quinn (disambiguation) page, with the British actress almost entirely credited as "Patricia", while the American actress, despite being listed as "Patricia Quinn" on IMDb, has been almost entirely credited as "Pat" and is listed as "Pat Quinn" on the eight-entry Pat Quinn disambiguation page. If the three-entry Patricia Quinn dab page is deleted, a hatnote can be placed atop the British actress' entry stating, "For the American scientist, see Patricia Quinn (atmospheric chemist). For similar names, see Pat Quinn (disambiguation)." —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:06, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
