Victims of Virtue
[edit]The failure of Ms. Owens to secure first rate roles after "The Fly" in 1958 is no coincidence. Her appearance in "Alfred Hitchcock Presents, 'The Crystal Trench'" in 1959 was immediately after her work in "The Fly." That's all it took. There was more than one talented and rising female star whose film career came to a screeching halt after working with Hitchkock and it isn't any secret why. It's a shame there is nothing clarifying the truth about what happened to Ms. Owens and other women unfortunate enough to end up in one of his productions. Mr. Hitchkock's vindictive penchant for destroying the futures of attractive actresses should be a part of this story, and especially a big part of his if it isn't already (I won't be visiting his page to find out). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.166.126.122 (talk) 06:33, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
